Wow. Is it just me or did this year fly by way too fast?! I can't believe we just had Christmas and now we're coming up to the new year!
Keala was able to fly from Hawaii and spend Christmas and New Year's with us, and when I say "us" I just mean me and Mom. It's fun to have her home but after a while I start to miss the quiet days. We were able to talk to Elder Escalante on the phone on Christmas Eve. It was so good to hear his laugh! Me, mom and Keala went to go watch "Sherlock Holmes" at the AMC theater. Such a great movie, I enjoyed watching it. I also enjoy watching all the previews (my favorite part) and look forward to all the upcoming movies in 2010!
After the nice long weekend, it's back to reality. I started taking down the Christmas decorations and started going back to work. It was nice to see everyone. I had lunch with Lexi Hesen today, at Tomato Patch, and she paid for my meal. :D She always makes me smile. Even more when she puts food in front of me . . .
The last two days Michelle has come over to watch "You're Beautiful" (K-Drama) and her and Keala get cozy on the couch and wait for me to create a home theater with the projector and our HUGE flat screen, also known as our living room wall. We get so ADDICTED! Last night we didn't get to bed till about 4:00am! Tonight, we're taking a break.
Keala isn't home yet and my mom has hibernated in her room. I don't think I would last as an only child. What should I do? Maybe I'll take my dogs out for a jog. They'd like that.
